2. SCOPE OF APPLICATIONThese conditions apply to any consultation of the website www.droletconstruction.com as well as to any service agreement, quote, or construction contract entered into between the Company and its clients (hereinafter the "Client").
3. QUOTES AND ESTIMATESAny quote issued by the Company is valid for a period of 30 days from its date of issuance, unless otherwise indicated.The final price may vary if unforeseen conditions (hidden defects, non-apparent structural changes during the initial inspection) arise during the course of the work. Any modification will be subject to a written amendment (change order/extra) signed by both parties.
4. CLIENT OBLIGATIONSThe Client agrees to:Provide free and safe access to the work site during agreed hours.Obtain, at their own expense, all necessary municipal permits or authorizations, unless the contract stipulates that the Company will handle it.Clear work areas of any fragile or valuable personal items.
5. PAYMENTS AND TERMSA deposit may be required upon signing the contract.Progress payments will be made according to the schedule provided in the contract.Any late payment may result in the suspension of work and interest charges.
6. WARRANTIES AND COMPLIANCEThe Company guarantees that the work is performed according to industry standard practice (règles de l'art) and in compliance with the Quebec Construction Code.The Company carries the legal warranty against faulty workmanship and hidden defects provided under the Civil Code of Quebec.Certain materials may be covered by a limited manufacturer's warranty; the Company is not responsible for defects inherent to materials provided by third parties.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITYThe Company cannot be held liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond its control (force majeure), including but not limited to: extreme weather conditions, industry strikes, material shortages, or government administrative delays.
